ABOUT MORAL REVENGE
Moral Revenge is a story about family, honor, devotion and revenge. When world events, egos, and naval careers force the Navy to use Vice Admiral Alexis Kochenko as a scapegoat, it shakes him and his family to its core.
The Admiral inadvertently found himself complicit in a corrupt consortium, jeopardizing the safety of the elite submarine service that he and his son committed their lives to. This blemish to the family name and a legacy his Lithuanian immigrant parents had so hoped to create; consumed the Admiral.
Torn by revenge, patriotism and honor, the Admiral’s son, John Kochenko, the
commanding officer of one of the Navy’s newest nuclear fast attack submarines, risks everything as he leads a select group of crew members to do the unthinkable. With complete disregard for his family tenets, John rights the wrong done to his father. At the same time, he exposes the consortium
practice in hopes to save his family, the United States Submarine Service
and the country from an unimaginable fate.
Moral Revenge triggers every human emotion, making you ask yourself
was this final act justified.
Moral Revenge is a novel written by Dean Macris and Tim Mazza, two Cold War Era qualified submariners. Unlike other submarine stories, you will
personally experience the submarine service and become part of a crew
on an impossible mission erased from history.
REVIEWS
This book kept my interest up and did not end the way I thought it would. I served with both of the authors in the 1970.s. The descriptions of the boat and the everyday actions by the crew underway brought back memories of those times. A recommended read.
Strap in and get ready, this is on book you don’t want to miss. Can’t wait for the sequel, the prequel, I WANT THE MOVIE RIGHTS!!
I found the book very interesting and a good read. The story kept my interest throughout.
As a former submariner from the era of the 70’s …I was wrapped up in the story… and the details had me thinking and feeling like I was back on board my old boat. I could again feel the boat move and I could hear the sounds of the boat. It was a great voyage. Thanks to the authors for a great trip.
Great read! Amazing story with awesome character development! Would love a prequel and sequel!!!
This book was amazing from beginning to end. The storyline was great. Kept my interest and was hard to put down. Action, mystery, adventure and gives you the feeling of such a strong family bond. Great read! I highly recommend it!
Absorbing work of fiction that seems like it could be real. Very well-written by two Cold War Era submariners. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys military topics. You’ll learn a lot about submarines, and develop a deeper appreciation for those who serve!

Couldn’t put it down.
Gets a spot between my blujackets manual and Tom Clancy.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Moral Revenge is a novel written by Dean Macris and Tim Mazza, two Cold War Era qualified submariners. Unlike other submarine stories, you will personally experience the submarine service and become part of a crew on an impossible mission erased from history.
Dean and Tim served aboard one of the newest fast attack submarines in the mid-1970s. Dean was the Communications/Electronics Material and Electrical Division officer, bringing his operational and nuclear experience to bear in the book. Tim served as a yeoman, mess cook, battle stations helmsman and topside watch, making him unusually well suited to convey the real life existence of enlisted crewmembers aboard a fast attack nuclear submarine.
As a result of their unique responsibilities and operational demands, Dean and Tim are able to convey the realities of a submarine existence with intensity. As they say, they lived submarining; they didn’t Google it.
Moral Revenge is more than a typical shoot them up submarine book. Dean and Tim weave the intricacies and emotions of a family legacy into a complex story to the point where all the training and expertise of a commanding officer is brought to bear against the Navy and submarine community his family loved for so many years.
